Assistant Manager - RSPO Coordinator [AMRSPO]
Summary/Function:
Assist RSPO Coordinator in ensuring compliance's of the company business operations and practices with to the round-table on sustainable palm oil (RSPO) and Indonesia Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) principles and criteria. The position holders is also responsible in monitoring, identification of non-conformance and recommendations to ensure that all business operations and process of all business units are in line with the corporate value, policies, and programs, and in conformance with good corporate practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist RSPO Coordinator in the oversights and supervision of the implementation of RSPO P & C throughout operational units.
* Assist in the process of improvement of internal system to ensure compliance of business operations and practices to RSPO P & C and the corporate policies through:
o Documentation of all corporate policies, programs, projects and initiatives related to internal system improvements and RSPO P & Cs
o Develop baseline data on RSPO P & Cs related initiatives and requirements
o Monitor the implementations of RSPO related initiatives, including capacity building exercise, stakeholders relations and continuous and corrective actions of each business units
o Closely work all concerned departments to monitor the implementation of corrective actions program in all business unit towards full compliance

Requirements:

Responsibilities:
" Summary/Function:
o Assist general manager in developing, implementing and evaluating of environment, health and safety strategy, policy, standard and procedures. This position holder also must ensure compliance's of the estate & mill operations and practices with relevant rules and regulation including other EHS standard such as ISO and OHSAS in line to long term goal to achieve the round-table on sustainable palm oil (RSPO) principles and criteria. " Duties and Responsibilities:
o Develop estate EHS strategy, management plan and conduct regular monitoring, field inspection and EHS performance evaluating including delivery of EHS matter awareness to employee and staff. Regularly report the progress of EHS compliance.
o Develop, implement and evaluate best practices in environment health and safety in estate through:
o Develop overall EHS Strategic direction for the estate and asses its effectiveness towards meeting the corporate goals and strategies
o Prepare short term and medium to long term EHS activity plans and verify/coordinate the budgets for estate. Submit proposals and obtain necessary internal approvals for implementation
o Identify and update the applicable environmental and safety laws and regulation including required license and evaluate the compliance status

o Develop and review Environmental & Safety policy/procedure/programs in accordance to International Standards (ISO & OHSAS) and ensuring the effectiveness of its implementation, and benchmark with industry EHS best practice relating to plantation and milling industry
o Conduct environmental aspect impact register, hazard identification and risk assessment which cooperate with Respective estate staff
o Adhere to all EHS issues and implementing according to EHS advise
o Setting up of staff safety and health standards to eliminate risks associated with hazards at work
o Lead in the investigation of accidents or injuries/illness to develop solutions and prevent recurrence
o Build effective relation with relevant NGOs and government officer
o Provide advisory/technical support related to Environmental & safety on process safety management, installation of new equipment and facilities at estate area
Requirements:
o Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in environmental, health, safety, agriculture, forestry, or conservation biology.
o At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
o Have certification: AMDAL, EHS Audit (ISO, OHSAS, SMK3).
o Knowladge on AMDAL, ISO 14K, OHSAS, HCV and RSPO standard
